The university logo was created as a graphic transcription of a fragment of a fresco from the tomb of Constantine (St. Cyril) in the Basilica of St. Clement in Rome. The emblem illustrates the historically available image of the saint and is applied as an emblem with an illustration of the person of Constantine. A half-figure holding a book (the Bible) is placed centrally in a circle, from which Constantine extends his hand as a friendly gesture. The logo is complemented by sans-serif lettering around the circle and five irregular circles in the lower right part. The five circles represent the five faculties. Their number can be changed as needed. The author is academic painter Jozef Dobiš, who told us more about the origin of the logo.
The university logo is available for download for students and employees of the university, as well as for the journalistic community and the general public. The logo of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra may only be used in accordance with “good morals”.
