The recreational facility of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra in the village of Patince is intended for recreational stays of employees. The two-story building with nine 2-, 3-, and 4-bed rooms with extra beds, a kitchenette, and a common room is located in the area of the Patince summer thermal spa.
The spa is located 15 km from Komárno towards Štúrovo, near the southernmost village of Slovakia, Patince. The area is located in a region with the longest sunshine hours and the highest temperatures measured in our country. The recreational area was built around a thermal spring that emerges from a depth of 160-200 m and has a temperature of 27°C. The summer thermal spa includes a water slide world with a total length of 150 m, consisting of three slides: the longest Anaconda, the steepest Kamikaze, and the widest Family – super slide.
The area of the summer thermal spa also houses a Wellness hotel, which includes an indoor adventure pool.
Benefits for UKF employees:
- Employees who are entitled to a recreation contribution according to § 152a of the Labour Code can apply for the recreation contribution at the Personnel and Legal Department of UKF based on a tax document issued by the accommodation provider.
- In accordance with the collective agreement, all UKF employees are provided with a contribution of €10 per overnight stay or €35 for the rental of the entire facility per night, with a maximum of €70 per year.
