The Ethics Committee is an advisory body to the Rector, whose mission is to assess submissions regarding violations of the Code of Ethics of UKF in Nitra and requests for an opinion on the implementation of research and/or projects in the field of natural sciences, mathematical sciences, computer sciences, medical and health sciences, social sciences, and humanities, if required by the grant agency, journal editorial office, or in other justified cases.
The applicant submits a written request by filling out the form “Request for an Opinion of the Ethics Committee of UKF in Nitra on the Implementation of Research and/or Project” including other relevant information and attachments in electronic and print form to the address of the Chairman of the Ethics Committee.
The Ethics Committee is also responsible for the creation and implementation of the gender equality policy at UKF in Nitra. The Chairman of the Ethics Committee is usually the Vice-Rector for Research and Development, and the members are representatives of the faculties.
