The Education Support Fund is a financial institution established by Act No. 396/2012 Coll. as of January 1, 2013, as the legal successor to the Student Loan Fund and the Loan Fund for Beginning Educators.
The fund’s mission is to remove financial barriers to education. It provides preferential loans to university students and educational staff to enable them to focus on their studies, personal development, and professional growth without excessive financial stress.
In addition to providing new loans, the fund also manages loans previously provided by the Student Loan Fund and the Loan Fund for Beginning Educators.
The deadlines for announced loans are published and regularly updated on the website of the Education Support Fund www.fnpv.sk.Types of student loans offered by the fund:
- Loan without a guarantor
from €1,000.00 to €3,500.00 – the loan is non-purpose, fixed interest rate 4%
- Loan with a guarantor
from €2,000.00 to €7,500.00 – the loan is non-purpose, fixed interest rate 4%
- Stabilization loan
€4,000.00 – the loan is non-purpose, without a guarantor, guaranteed interest rate 4%
