Nitra Summer University is a joint project of Constantine the Philosopher University, Slovak University of Agriculture, and the City of Nitra, within which children aged 8-11 become acquainted with the academic environment, the nature of university studies, and selected interesting topics that are part of the diverse range of study programs offered by both Nitra universities.
Nitra Summer University is organized regularly every year during the first two weeks of the summer holidays, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The “studies” of NLU participants begin with a ceremonial matriculation and conclude with a ceremonial graduation, where graduates are awarded a certificate with the title “Academicus Nitriensis Junior”.
