Professional practice is an integral part of study programs at the university. It is considered a valuable part of preparing a graduate of a study program for professional employment because it brings the student into contact with the reality of the profession.
The general goal of professional practice is to provide students with the opportunity to confront their theoretical knowledge with its practical implementation, to take a stance on professional problems and conflicts, to gain experience with the ways of working that exist or are applied in various types of organizations, and to stimulate students’ efforts to reflect on this experience, to allow them to practically try out and verify the knowledge, skills, and methods of work they have become acquainted with during their theoretical preparation, and thus develop their own professional identity.
Specific goals of professional practice are defined by individual study programs in accordance with the defined graduate profile.
