The University Pastoral Center of Pavol Strauss Nitra (UPC) was opened at UKF in December 2008. Its main goal is to provide pastoral care and spiritual assistance to students and employees of Nitra universities, institutions, and dormitories.
UPC organizes regular formation, worship, cultural, and leisure activities. It focuses primarily on spiritual renewal, complementing academic education with a Christian value dimension, providing spiritual guidance, counseling, and creating space for friendly meetings of believers and searching students and employees. It organizes lectures and discussions on theology, culture, and other disciplines with the aim of fostering dialogue between faith, science, and culture. It provides media resources for spiritual, human, and social personal development through a library, and an audio and video archive with religious and other themes.
