Realizing your dream of an interesting study and a successful future requires active interest and a desire to learn essential information directly on site. This opportunity is offered to future high school graduates, as well as younger high school students, by the autumn Open Day at the University of Constantine the Philosopher (UKF) in Nitra, which will take place on Thursday November 19, 2026.
The university and its five faculties will open their doors to all those who want to get to know the academic environment more closely and are interested in what student life entails. They will be able to see for themselves the conditions, quality, and diversity of study at UKF in Nitra, get acquainted with the university and faculty facilities, and find out what awaits them during the learning process, professional practice, as well as in extracurricular student life. They will also learn about opportunities for international mobility, during which they can gain valuable knowledge and practical experience from renowned institutions outside Slovakia.
We warmly invite not only graduates but also students in the 2nd or 3rd year of high schools to the autumn Open Day at UKF 2026. Since the choice of where to study after high school is not an easy one for a young person, it is essential to have as much relevant information as possible. Interests and preferences of the applicant, their talents and exceptional abilities in a certain direction, and prerequisites for university study are crucial, as well as advice and opinions from parents, high school teachers, or friends. However, the final decision rests with the student themselves, so the best way to choose the right study program is to actively seek information about what studies each university offers, where it is located, how its study programs are oriented towards the employment of graduates in practice, what opportunities students have for mobility, and the conditions for studying, accommodation, or leisure activities within student life are also important.
These essential pieces of information, which will significantly help applicants make responsible decisions, will be provided directly on site by the Open Day at UKF. It will be a small but substantial taste of what awaits them at the school as our future students. The program has been prepared by university staff and students at both the university level and the five faculties of UKF.
Participants will gain their first contact with the academic environment and basic information during the November Open Day 2026 already at the main building of UKF at Tr. A. Hlinku 1, where from 8:00 AM professional staff will be available at information booths of the faculties, student organizations, and the Erasmus+ program. More comprehensive information will subsequently be obtained at the individual faculty locations, where they will get to know specific study programs more closely, participate in lectures, tours, presentations, workshops, discussions, open hours, and other events prepared for them by the faculties.
Dear students, before you decide where to study after graduation, take this opportunity and visit the Open Day at UKF in Nitra on November 19, 2026. Personal interviews, meetings, and events of the program on the university premises can be a rich source of inspiration for you in choosing the most suitable study direction.
