Career counseling supports self-knowledge, identification of strengths and interests, promotes self-development and motivation. Career counseling helps to clarify goals and desires, to orient oneself better and choose from options, to prepare for changes, but also to implement changes, to seek balance between personal and professional life, and to manage one’s personal career. Career counseling is provided in the form of individual career counseling as well as group career counseling. Individual career counseling takes place once a week, lasting from 45 to 60 minutes depending on the type of problem. Career counseling is provided by three career counselors – PaedDr. Martina Romanová, PhD., Mgr. Katarína Baňasová, PhD., and Mgr. Miriama Hudáková, PhD.

Career education is organized by the Student Center – Job Contact of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. It consists of workshops and training sessions aimed at developing the knowledge and skills of students of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra with the aim of improving their employability. The topics of workshops/training sessions are diverse. They focus on the area of developing one’s own business (support for managerial, marketing, project skills, startup skills…), as well as skills needed to obtain good employment (writing CVs, preparing for interviews, communication and presentation skills…). They are carried out in cooperation with renowned partner organizations.
Specific dates and a brief description of currently offered workshops are published in the events calendar, which is regularly updated on the website of the Student Center.
