Every employee and student has the option to obtain one parking permit (PK). This permit is used for parking personal vehicles in parking lots designated for UKF in Nitra.
Employees
Up to 4 vehicle registration numbers (VRNs) can be entered on an employee’s PK. Once the PK is created, these VRNs are listed on it. The PK must be placed in a visible location in the car for inspection by the municipal police in Nitra. In addition to the VRN, the validity of the permit is also indicated on the card. Permits are issued for 2 years and are automatically renewed for employees upon expiry. The issuance of the permit is free of charge.

Students
1 vehicle registration number (VRN) can be entered on a student’s PK. The PK must be placed in a visible location in the car for inspection by the municipal police in Nitra. In addition to the VRN, the validity of the permit is also indicated on the card. Permits are issued for 2 years and are automatically renewed for students upon expiry, provided they are still students of the university during that period. Upon completion of their studies, students are obliged to return their PK to the Centre for Information and Communication Technologies of UKF (CIKT). The issuance of the permit costs 10 EUR.
The procedure for issuing a parking permit is as follows:
- Students must pay the fee by bank transfer to account number: SK29 8180 0000 0070 0007 3041. For payment identification, students must enter the variable symbol: 1050zzzzzz, where zzzzzz is the student’s identification number according to their student ID.
- After payment, a web link will be sent to the student’s university email account, which will lead to an application for entering the VRN details required for issuing the permit. The student portal where students enter their VRNs is only accessible within UKF in Nitra.
- After entering the details, the student will appear in the system in the list of those waiting for their permit to be issued.
- After the permit is produced at CIKT, the student will receive an email (to their university email account) stating that they can pick up their permit at CIKT.
- Upon collection of the permit, students are obliged to present proof that they are the owner of the vehicle, or that their parents are the owners of the vehicle (the document will be presented for inspection). The vehicle must be registered to a natural person, not a legal entity (company).
