Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, as a public entity, is subject to a new obligation, stemming from the regulation of the European Parliament and Council, implemented into the Slovak legal order through the amendment of Act No. 264/2022 Coll. on media services and on amendments and supplements to certain acts (Media Services Act) concerning the regulation of state advertising (§ 103a of Act No. 264/2022 Coll.).
The University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra is legally obliged to notify the Council for Media Services – the regulator of state advertising – in the current year whether it has provided public funds for state advertising, directly or indirectly, during the preceding calendar year.
The notification obligation is fulfilled once a year, no later than January 31st for the entire preceding calendar year.
