Internal Quality Assurance System of higher education at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra is a tool for strategic management of UKF in the area of quality culture. It is developed in accordance with Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts as amended, Act No. 269/2018 Coll. on Quality Assurance of Higher Education and on Amendments and Supplements to Act No. 343/2015 Coll. on Public Procurement and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts as amended, and Standards for the Internal Quality Assurance System of Higher Education of the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education.
The internal quality assurance system of higher education is composed of a set of internal regulations of UKF and covers all processes of higher education and the processes of research, development, artistic, and other creative activities at UKF.
Through the internal quality assurance system of higher education, UKF declares its primary responsibility for the quality of education provided within all its components and at all levels of its operation.
The Council for Internal Quality Assessment of Higher Education of UKF is the executive and decision-making body of UKF in the field of education quality assurance at the university. The powers, responsibilities in relation to the internal quality system of UKF, composition, commissions, working groups, and the council’s rules of procedure are defined in the Statute of the Council for Internal Quality Assessment of Higher Education of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
Each faculty of UKF regulates the way of fulfilling the standards and criteria for the internal quality system through its own policies and/or a set of internal regulations, respecting the specifics of its study programs, employees, students, and other stakeholders.
